What the contact form sends
The contact form is the one place the site asks for anything: a topic, your email address and your message. When you press Send, those three go to the editors as an email, and nothing else is recorded. Your address is used to reply to you and for nothing else: it is not added to a mailing list, not shared and not sold.
Three services carry the message on its way. The form is handled by the site's host, Vercel; the email is delivered by Brevo, which keeps its own delivery log; and the contact@vietnam-notes.com address is forwarded by ImprovMX to the editors' inbox, where the message stays until it is deleted. Writing to that address directly skips the first two: ImprovMX forwards the email to the same inbox.
To have a message you sent deleted, write to contact@vietnam-notes.com from the same address and say so.
Like any web server, the hosting platform may keep standard technical logs — an IP address, a user agent — for security and performance. Nothing on this site links that to an identity.
Outbound links, including every photo credit, lead to other sites — Unsplash, Pexels, government visa portals and the like — that have their own privacy practices, not this one.
